Clean Water Project for Buyala Children's School
Dear
Susan, and team at Casco alliance church, I want to brief you about the well
project . The work of digging the well has gone on smoothly and the project is
almost coming to completion. we were excited when we reached the water level,
and dug deeper to ensure stable supply. The building of brick
or alignment of bricks on the sides of the wall is also done. A
water pump has been installed to
pump water into a big tank and it is amazing to see that we have clean, Pure
water on the school compound now, We used to get our water from a nearby swamp,
today this is no more. We are so thank full for the reliable well which can
provide safe water.
Thank you all for making this come true and helping us
achieve this important goal we had
as a school.
We remained with some money which we have agreed to use
and install a thunder arrester
system on one of the school building. This will help to reduce the risk of
lightening striking the school
Thanks again and May God Bless you.

About the Buyala Children’s School
Buyala children’s school opened in 2015 with a handful of young children 3-7
years for Nursery and day care services. The purpose is to provide affordable
education at a low cost, this would help children who would have otherwise
missed out on school.
We registered a number of children whose age was higher than their classes. The
majority of our pupils come from low-income families and most are at least one
or two levels behind where they should be in their schooling. They will either
have dropped out of school at some time or they are usually at risk of doing so.
Many of these failed to even meet the little fees the school was charging. Some
of the children failed to turn up for subsequent terms because of lack of
payments. We found out later that many were from homes headed by women, whose
mothers /guardians were not gainfully employed.
We accepted these children in school trusting God to provide for their school
needs. After studying the nature of parents in this area we decided to begin a
sponsorship programme to help some of the children who would have otherwise
missed out on school.
